Moving on to Idaho
After Bryce Canyon, we thought about going up to the Grand Tetons, then over to see Wayne and Nancy in Clyde Park, MT. After checking the weather, we said “NO WAY” This was Friday, June 10th and it was going to snow in the Grand Tetons that weekend. So we headed to Idaho.
Friends, Dennis and Linda Forbes, from Happy Trails came over to the RV Park on Sunday just to check in. On Monday, they picked us up and we headed to the Pickleball courts near their house. Dennis teaches and had around 14-15 players there. The courts are temporary courts on concrete slab, but they have 3 marked off. They had painted the lines on two tennis courts right next door the day before, but they needed to dry. Of course, I forgot my camera that day so no pictures. That evening, we had dinner at Dennis and Linda’s place in Eagle, ID. Nice time and good food, really enjoyed it.
On Tuesday, we went to the only real pickleball court in town. Another Dennis has one in his back yard. IT is a very nice court with plenty of space and a good surface.
Dennis, Linda, Dennis, Bob and Gary
Rodell and Tim weren’t there for the picture. Below are some pictures of play. We really appreciated the chance to play.
Heading to the North Idaho State Senior Games this weekend.
