Thunderbird in Monroe, WA
Well we made it across Stephens Pass to Monroe and to the Leisure Time Park there. Got here on the 28th and since we were able to get full hookups and satellite ( a luxury in this park) we’ve decided to stay 2 weeks. It’s only about 15 miles from Bob’s Mom so we can visit her and take care of business. It’s about 30 miles to the nearest indoor court, but since the park is small (I can walk all the park twice going up and down the streets in 30 minutes) we have to go to get exercise. First business was going to see Mom and taking her to get some blood tests at the Clinic. After a little ride, it was back to the home to check out her TV. It died. Thursday we went to Meadow Brook to play Pickleball. Had a big group including Dennis, Bunny, Betty Silver, Lela Reed, Shirley Sikes, Carole Myers, Frank, Fran, Kris and Ted Koch and others we had met last year.
