We spent Tuesday in Town updating blog and working on web. I went shopping while Bob worked. On Wednesday, we took another hike, around 7 miles with an elevation gain of around 1,000 ft. Here are just a few of the beautiful scenes. The waters are flowing really fast due to the melting snow & warmer weather. They were starting to sand bag in places in Estes Park.

Rocky Mountain National Park -- Moraine Park Campground Campsites are not very level but big enough. Our first day in Rocky Mountain National Park was cloudy with a little drizzle but beautiful. Bob and I are back in our elements now. No traffic, beautiful snow-capped mountains and lots of wild life. Just driving in, we saw Elk galore. No big racks, but the velvet racks are growing. Need to get acclimated to the altitude. This was the Cub Lake Hike. I thought of the group that we hike with in Happy Trials. They would have enjoyed it. It's been awhile, but we're back on the road again, so hopefully I'll stay up to date on my blog. My last blog left us going to Aruba over Thanksgiving. Bob and Susie Walls went with us, we had a great time. On one day, we visited de Palm Island. There we rode the Banana boat. We also snorkeled. This is a preserve for the Parrot Fish.The water park was a blast. With multiple slides and water features. After we got home, it was hit the road running, getting ready for all the tournaments and catching up with friends. For Christmas, we had 4 couples over for dinner, Bob and Suzie Walls, Don and Harolyn Walker, Carl and Juanita Vinson, and Dennis and Bunny Duey. Lots of good food and drinks. Well, we 're back in Happy Trails, but several trips along the way. To the right is a picture of some of the pickleball play in Henderson. After we got the rig fixed, again, we headed to HT. We had a heck-tit schedule from the geck go. We arrived on Oct. 5th or 6th. Several meetings to get the programs and people ready for the Nationals. This, for the non pickleballers was the first National Championships that were held November 2-8th at Sun City Festival. Bob was in charge of the computer system which handled the registration, and all the brackets for the games. It even printed all the score sheets for the upcoming games. With right at 400 players from around the nation, it was a huge success. But a lot of work. We were there from 6:00 (which meant we had to leave the house at 5:00 am) and didn't get home until 7:00 or 8:00 every night. The results are posted on www. usapa.org. Well, we finally left Winnebago Factory on Friday, Sept. 18. It was a long week. I could walk the whole town in 30 minutes. I did find a trail through the park and one or two days did get a walk in. It's really boring sitting there all day. The wi - fi was great so Bob got a lot done on the tournament program for the Nationals. I think we got all but one thing taken care of. They were great to work with, but I really was glad to get away. The factory is where you hear all the horror stories. Next we stopped over night at Paul and Jean Just's house in Rapid City, Iowa. We stayed in the driveway next to their rig. It was a great visit, going out for pizza. Paul's doing great and recovering but can't get away from there to head to Happy Trails until end of October or so. After that we visited our broker in St. Louis.
