August in Star Valley
After the tournament, we took a couple of days to get back organized with no entertaining of guests and to go shopping in Idaho Falls. It’s about 80 miles for a trip to get supplies for the month of August and hopefully the last trip before we leave here in the middle to end of Sept. Then, we had to fly to St. Louis for a funeral. Bob’s aunt passed away. We were gone from Aug 6th – 8th. Good trip, Bob saw cousins that he had not seen since he was around 11 years old. I had never met most of these relatives. Everyone appreciated that we had taken the time to go. After we got back, we tried to start our hiking and kayaking again, so here is the latest. Aug 10th, Swift Creek. This was written up to be a hard hike, but really wasn’t as bad as we thought. It was a beautiful hike as always, but not near as steep.
